Southwest Rapid Rewards - EBCI - two specific flights - would you buy?

Opinions from those well travelled on SW - is it worth it* to purchase EBCI on these two flights I am looking at?
(Nonstop DTW-LAS-DTW in Jan/Feb)
1. DTW-LAS #401
I think this flight originates in BWI with a stop in DTW
2. LAS-DTW #2509
I think this flight originates in OAK with a stop in LAS
Think majority of folks from OAK deplane in Vegas?
*"worth it" to me defined as being able to get two aisle seats or aisle and window, preferably together. Row does not matter. I am budget conscious so if I dont need to spend $40 I would prefer not to. (I am not interested in seat saving.)
Thank you!

Can you get online, or have someone check in for you, 24 hours before departure? If you can, no need to EBCI for what you want.

Are you going to be available to check in right at T-24? If so, get your check in set up, all ready to go beforehand, and watch the clock (your cell phone is a good source for this) for exactly T-24. I get automatic checkin for myself, but when I check in a family member, I watch the clock turn the exact minute and then wait about 10 seconds to be sure that Southwest's clock has also rolled over, and then hit the button.
If you're not available to check in right at T-24, or have someone else do it for you, then you're a candidate for EBCI. I personally have -never- purchased EBCI for anyone, and I seriously hate the thought of the extra $10 per person each way.
Remember, that with even with EBCI you're still going to be behind every thru pax, every A-Lister-Plus, every A-Lister, everybody else who paid for EBCI before you did, and everybody ahead of you who's saving seat(s).
All those $10 EBCIs are pure gravy for GK and Southwest.
In somewhere between 50 and 100 checkins, never had worse than a low B, and mostly never worse than an A31-60. Never a middle seat.

Thank you for your responses. I have only been on SW twice, before EBCI.
When I saw these were thru flights I was leaning toward just the T-24.....
No problem being ready at T-24 on the outbound leg. On the return I will make an effort to find some wifi and be ready to go at T-24. I can just print boarding passes at the airport - the important thing is to check in. Just didnt want two middle seats!

You can check in with your smartphone.
