Air New Zealand Air Points - Upgrade of domestic 'Seat only' now possible

I just noted that some 'Seat only' flight now have the ability to be upgraded to 'Seat plus Bag' online for $10 - similar to the TT upgrade of product options of S->S+B->W->WD. The button on the MyAirNZ flight tab thingy reads 'select new product'.

A small, but nonetheless welcome, enhancement. Of course this may be old news, but I hadn't seen anything from Air NZ on this to date.

Remember having a domestic flight a while bag that I originally thought I would just need a seat for, but had to change it which then required a bag - With no way to upgrade it was going to cost $20, $25? at the airport. --More expensive then the 'bag upgrades' you could do on TT fares online!

Thanks so much for pointing this out. Had incorrectly chosen seat only PPQ-AKL and seat plus bag back. Had visions of trying to package my road bike so it looked like fastbag [even though it easily makes the 15kg weight limit]
