KLM Flying Dutchman - Widerĝe/SAS - Can't sell KLM tickets

Dear all,
I always buy my tickets from Widerĝe/SAS for KLM, so I can get extra benefits, such as 24 hour cancellation, etc. However, since June this was impossible. Widerĝe claims that KLM and AF as stopped all other companies in selling their tickets, since they want to sell it themselves....
Is this true and why are they doing this?
Sincerely,
SB

If Wideroe/SAS were still able to sell you tickets, I don't think they would lie about the matter, but would instead gladly take your money.
When an agent/third party sells a ticket, they usually receive a commission. I guess AF/KL no longer want to pay commission to Wideroe/SAS, perhaps because the amount of tickets purchased was minimal.

Widerĝe can still sell AF and KL flights... the problem is that since June, most AFKL fares have a sales restrictions preventing ticket issuance on most stocks. It is most likely to prevent fuel dumps by issuing AF fare smartly on some YQ-friendly airline stock.

So basically tickets with an e-ticket number starting with 117 (=SAS) may not include any AFKL sectors?
Does this mean that if SAS has cancellations, strikes or other disruptions, they are unable to rebook on KLM? :o

I think airlines have special provisions for rebooking in these situations.

I recently could not combine KL and SAS on one ticket. Called KL in the US and they could not do it, nor could a bunch of OTAs. I had to buy two tickets separately. Hopefully no botched connection.

Not saying that you are incorrect, but do you know how that would work? In my experience rebookings on the spot are done on ticket stock of the originally-operating carrier.
The list posted by ranskis states that KLM tickets may not be issued on SAS ticket stock. So out of curiosity, would these 'sales restrictions' only apply to 'normal sales' and not 'operational sales'? Does that also mean these rules are not automatically checked/verified, but rather manually? Or not at all (They might just rely on the sales agent to verify the sales terms..).

I am not an expert in these things, but don't airlines use IATA fares as a basis of these operational rebookings?

The sale restriction only applies to AF/KL Fares, not Flights.
AF/KL Flights can continue to be included on other carrier's Fares (incl. SK Fares).

The sales restrictions posted above relate to a single particular fare - the same restrictions do not apply to all Air France fares, and different fares will have different restrictions.
Right?
