Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles - Requesting Special Meals for Comfort Class

Hello All,

Has anyone requested special meals for comfort class? I am requesting a seafood meal for an upcoming flight and concerned that it may not be as good as the regular comfort class meals.

Comfort class meals have been going down...and I believe if you ordered a special meal you would get the normal economy special meal....last flight in CC was a big disappointment.

That's disappointing to hear. If you don't mind, can you share what the problem was. Also, where did you depart from?

I recently had the opportunity to fly Turkish on a few different routings and pre-selected the seafood meal on two of the legs. I was quite happy with both meals. The first one was a cold seafood option (lunch) which consisted of smoked salmon, shrimp and some other smoked fish.

The second meal (dinner) included a swordfish skewer and a shrimp salad. Both times the meals looked better than the default meals. I just selected seafood again for an upcoming flight but will also try out the Hindu Vegetarian as well.

You will find the answer from this forum here. In Comfort Class they say every seat are good. Bulkhead seat row 11 you get more space and those seats goes first. You may try to reserve them from 24h call center Istanbul 100 days before departure if you already bought a ticket 101 days or more ago.

I had a vegetarian special meal in Comfort class last year and it was lovely - Indian veggy type stuff. Trying it again in a couple of months' time.
