Travel Photography - Downsides to Sony A65

I'm looking to upgrade my A100, and the A65 looks pretty appealing - but I'm having trouble finding cons to it. Everything I'm seeing online suggests the only cons are "it's not a Nikon/Cannon", which isn't helpful, as I have a collection of fantastic Minolta lenses.
I'm especially interesting in low light performance, as I'm not totally happy with the A100 in anything except bright sunlight.
Anyone have one? Good/bad thoughts?

I went from the a350 to the a55, so you will be making a bigger leap. I wasn't sure that I would note that many appreciable differences between the two, but I was pleasantly surprised. I now find using the a350 as a second body to not be all that rewarding since I have been spoiled by the a55.
As for low light, here are some pictures Christmas evening in Paris in 2011:

Those are 100X better than my low light photos. Going to have to do some more research and maybe drop Christmas present hints!
