2013 Nissan Juke
Arrival in October 2012 (Standard Car Class)

The Juke was released in 2010 by Nissan as a mini-crossover and features seating for 5 passengers. Rear seats have a 60/40 split and fold down independently to carry larger cargo. The Juke weighs in at less than 3,000 pounds and packs a turbocharged, direct-injection 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that's good for 188 horsepower. EPA says you should be able to net 27 mpg city and 32 mpg highway. Renter’s can expect power doors, locks, iPod connectivity, a six-speaker sound system and Bluetooth hands-free calling with the S trim our Juke’s will be equipped with.

2013 Buick Verano
Arrival in August 2012 (Standard Car Class)

The Verano debuted in 2012 and is marketed as a compact luxury sport sedan based on the Chevy Cruze platform. It is the smallest car in Buick’s lineup designed to attract a younger customer base. It sports a 2.1 liter I-4 with 180 hp and 170 lbs of torque which propels it from 0-60 mph in eight seconds. The Verano has an EPA highway rating of 31 mpg and the base models we are purchasing include 18-inch wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, Bluetooth (phone and audio streaming), OnStar, a six-speaker sound system with Buick's IntelliLink smartphone-connectivity system and push-button starting.

2013 Cadillac ATS
Arrival in September 2012 (Cadillac Car Class)

The ATS is positioned below the CTS and is Cadillac’s rear wheel drive sedan that was developed to compete with the BMW 3-Series. Marketed as a sporty compact sedan with at 270 hp 2.5 liter I-4, the ATS is smooth and composed on rough pavements providing the comfortable ride Cadillac customers have come to expect. Our models will be equipped with rearview backup camera, leather seating, keyless entry, remote start, and 17” alloy wheels.

2013 Dodge Dart
Arrival in October 2012 (Intermediate Car Class)

Another familiar name from the past added to Chrysler’s line up of revived models such as the Challenger and Charger is the new version of the Dodge Dart. The Dart is part of Dodge’s compact sedan category which is a rapidly growing segment of the US car industry. The Dart fills the void that was left by the Neon and falls into the same car class with models such as the Chevrolet Cruze and Ford Focus. The Dart’s generous width makes the cabin feel spacious while providing comfort with its plush seats. It sports a 2.0 liter I-4 with 160 hp and 148 lbs of torque.

2013 Infiniti JX35
Arrival in September 2012 (Premium Crossover Car Class)

The JX37 is Infiniti’s all new 7 Passenger Crossover and a family friendly addition to its line up. With 3 rows of seating, the JX37’s main goal is volume which lands it in the same class as the Acura MDX. Although shorter and narrower than Infiniti’s larger QX56, the JX37 offers about as much passenger space and more legroom in each of its three rows. Leather upholstery is standard along with heated power front seats, keyless entry and start, power rear hatch rearview camera and much more.

2013 Infiniti FX37
Arrival in September 2012 (Elite Car Class)

The FX37 SUV which has been in production for many years gets a new 3.7L V6 for 2013. The FX37 is a mid-size luxury crossover which is known for its aggressive styling and carlike performance.

2013 Toyota Venza
Arrival in September 2012 (Medium SUV / Crossover Car Class)

The Venza is a mid-size crossover SUV and slotted in size and price between the RAV4 compact crossover SUV, and the Highlander mid-size crossover which has 3rd row seating. The Venza is based on the Camry chassis and powered by a 2.7 liter I-4. Our models will include fog lamps, 19" alloy wheels, satellite radio, 6-disc CD changer, dual-zone climate control, power drivers seat, steering-wheel mounted audio controls.

I'm assuming that the Cadillac ATS is "luxury" category? I'm happy to see that the Buick Verano isn't Premium like we feared (Standard is quite fair for this car).

Great info! I second peter's comment about the Verano thankfully not being a Premium car. My guess is the ATS will come in the 2.0L Turbo Luxury trim which sounds pretty decent!

I guess I can stop pestering the managers about whether they've seen the Dodge Dart for now....:)

I drove an ATS the other day, they were doing a test drive event thing at the cadiallac plant here in town (they had a number of vehicles they were doing drives in, ATS, XTS, CTS-V, volt, camaro convertable, plus a few that had been brought over from the local dealers also).

Very short test drives, but at least it gave kinda an initial impression. In general I kinda liked the ATS (and would consider looking at one when I replace my old Passat), although I'm not a real fan of the real small, highly angled rear windows that GM has been putting on their cars. And it didn't suffer anywhere near as badly as the new 3 series does when it comes to shoulder room (I wouldn't want to drive a 3 series, I found I was uncomfortably up against the B pillar sitting in that car). Kind of a small trunk though, especially for something they'll put on the Luxury aisle. Pretty sure the ATS I drove was the 3.6L v6.

XTS wasn't bad for a large car, although I felt the road noise was pretty noticeable, which I kind of wonder about for a car in its price range. Although in fairness, the roads in that area of town are definitely pretty bad, and the one stretch was grooved highway.

(Also got a chance back in I think it was the spring to walk through the plant there, but they hadn't started building the ATSs at the time. For that matter, when they had their open house, they weren't building CTS coupes either because of a problem they were having (think it was a part shortage, something to do with with carpeting apparently).

I wonder when the '13 Lincoln MKZ and Ford Fusion will be hitting fleets? Greatly looking forward to those!

Mondeo production in Europe has been pushed back several months, with first sale in September now. My guess is the Fusion/MKZ will be similarly delayed.

I read somewhere that the XTS has active noise-cancellation, but possibly that's only with the fancy-pants stereo system.

I've also read that the ATS is pretty tiny on the inside. I wouldn't mind driving one myself but if you're expecting a full-size luxury car it'd be a problem. I thought Caddy was giving up on the fleet sales for a while?

The Nissan Juke looks like two bugs mating, but having spent a day recently tooling around town in the back seat of one I gotta say that it's surprisingly roomy and overall pretty decent.

It's interesting that the sales brochure gives specifics on gas mileage. Granted, it's publicly available information online. Still, when I ask counter sales staff about fuel efficiency, they usually hesitate and seem uncomfortable. I suspected they knew what it was, but were afraid to tell me.

The ATS has the noise-cancellation stuff too (actually, I can't find anything on the XTS pages that mentions it, although I can't imagine they wouldn't have it there), however, it does mention that it monitors engine noise, and the noises I was hearing the XTS were really more road noise.

I'm not sure I'd call the ATS tiny inside (and like I was saying, especially compared to a 3 series BMW), but it's not what I'd say one would more traditionally expect on the luxury aisle. Most of those tend to be large full-size type cars. The ATS is pretty similar in size to my Passat (or an A4). And definitely compared to those larger cars you'd normally expect, you're not going to get the same amount of luggage in the trunk. (Heck, I think even the CTS I rented recently, all I could get was 2 26" and a 22" in the trunk, couldn't fit my 20" camera rolling bag back there. And I'd say the ATS trunk is definitely smaller).

I heard Friday morning on the radio that the first production ATS rolled off the line last week.

Wonder if FLL will have any of the ATSs by December, I might try a luxury rental there to give it a shot. But their luxury selection can be pretty bad from my experience.
