Update: do to popular demand, we will move the date to Monday, August 6th. Should we have it at the Kinsale again? It has covered outdoor seating, so works rain or shine. I'm open to other suggestions though.

Looks like we're up to 5 people now, plus a couple of "maybes".

Hey, it feels like it's high time for another Boston DO! We had a fun and well-attended one last October.

Can we get a quorum to do another one next month? How about Friday, August 10th, someplace within the city of Boston, hopefully with outdoor seating.

Is there interest in this? I think it would be fun! I know Summer vacations may cut both ways for an August date, but let's see how it goes.

Great idea, I can be there on the proposed date, and I have a lot of flexibility in the first half of August.

If we do not go away for the holiday weekend (Aug 13 is a state holiday in RI - VJ Day), might be up for coming to Boston.

I'd love to "come home" for a weekend :) but where it's goalie-mom's birthday weekend, I think "it would be best" for me to stay put (and remain in the will [for now] ;))

My meeting this afternoon got rescheduled so I will be able to stop by for an hour or so.

Thanks everyone who came last night. It was fun chatting with you! Sorry I had to bolt abruptly, but I had just realized I was about to miss my train home, and they run pretty infrequently once rush hour is past! Had to run a bit, bit I made it? :D

Sweet Willie is, as usual, correct. There is a small but loyal (and actually, quite nice) group of Bostonians who do the occasional Do. At our last one, there was discussion of doing one around Halloween. I'll keep you posted.
