Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer - Transfer miles options

I have about 23K miles with SQ about to expire (end of Aug). I've already had them extended as I planned to put in 2000 Amex miles to get 25K and take a trip to Europe - but that never happened.

Does anyone have any idea about my options to keep them? I wanted to shift them VS but they won't do that. Can I move them anywhere else, such as Hilton, and then move them into BA or VS?

Nope, nothing. You have to use them on *A or SQ's own partners. Note you can buy upto 50% of the miles required for an award at US$40 though there are cheaper ways to get this

That's US$40 per 1000 miles if I remember correctly. Although, I'd be very interested to know of any cheaper ways. Please feel free to PM. thanks.
