After disembarking a cruise ship in the morning, we'll be flying out of Honolulu with United at 9:11pm. Would like to rent a car to tour around, then take a shower before flight.

Does any Star Alliance lounge at the airport have shower facility?

Thanks.

I don't think the United Club in HNL offers any showers. None in the HNL airport to my knowledge. Sorry.

UC definitely does not have showers.

I believe that the only club to offer showers in HNL is the QF club.

None in the UA lounge in HNL. Of interest, seems they've stopped allowing UA Platinum and business class passengers from using the HNL lounge at all unless flying internationally. I was behind a very surprised couple who were denied entrance as gold members because they were "only flying to Guam." The person at reception said that with 1K and a C class ticket I would only be admitted if I were flying internationally or a RCC member. True?

I can not directly answer your question about the rules for entry to UA lounges for UA or US Air members; but Star Alliance Gold members on non-US based Star Alliance airline frequent flyer plans, would get full entry privileges to any United lounge, whether the flight is classified as domestic or international.

PS-Does Air NZ have their own lounge in HNL?

Yes, UA has reclassified Guam as not being international now.

(Travel within the U.S. (including Hawaii and Guam) in United First or United Business is not eligible.)
