Flying Blue (Air France, KLM, and Other Partners) - Flying Blue will not apply old rules for [intra-European] award after 31st July 2012

After the change to the "New award structure for intra-European flights", Flying Blue said and write that they will apply old rules until end of 2012

Well, I just called FB to book a flight in C between CDG and KBP. The lady told me that there is no such way to book with old rules. I "show" her the news on FB website, then she said, ok I look with my management.
After few minutes she came back, saying : ok it's possible to book with old rules (i.e. 60 000 miles instead of 90 000 miles), but this possibility will stop on 31st of July, not at the end of year :confused:

I said that it's written on their website that it's possible till the end of year, she replied that it's a mistake on the website and that it will be corrected soon.

Does anyone know about this "new change in the new rules" ???

Can you by any change tell me which call centre (country) you contacted (so they can inform the team)?

Flying Blue has assured us that the grace period runs until the end of 2012.

I called this morning the French one and my ticket was issue by "DIR - Bluelink / IVRY SUR SEINE"

I made a lastminute reservation last week and also the FB agent first claimed that it is not possible according to the old rules. Then we checked together the FB website and she then agreed and put me on hold. After a few minutes she told me that she must process the ticket manually and she could not tell me how much it would actually cost me to fly C shorthaul. Eventuall all went well. I am not sure whether it was the best way of spending 25k miles, but economy was for 18.5k and half the cash. No fee for issueing the award ticket at the FB center was charged.
