Does TG allow or have a mileage chart for one way travel. I want to go from
BKK to CDG for 4 pax and I can't seem to find any amounts of mileage needed. I want to have 1 pax in F and the 3 others in J . Therefore giving me first class lounge access in BKK .
Thank you ,
Shane .

To my knowledge redemption bookings are either return or RTW... but then I've never tried to make a one-way redemption.
I'm sure others will be able to help... could also be worth a call to your local TG office. Please share you findings!

So BKK to CDG in f is 110k and in j it's 90k is that correct ?
Great find, bkkman. Thanks! Interesting that this is the Feb 2012 edition and it doesn't mention TG*P
For BKK/CDG, seems that it's 89k in bus class and 129k in First. Ami reading this wrong?

In the OP you wanted to fly BKK-CDG, a direct flight. How are you planning to create a stopover?:eek:

Firstly I need to know how many miles to BKK to CDG for (4) people . One in first and 3 in J. Which is 400k. Now to redeem 400k I wanted to go from Sydney to Hawaii in first class for (4) people which is 400k in first class. The routing is via lax from Sydney so I woul like to do a stop over there if its allows

I'm sure your wife will enjoy F class!
So, do you actually have any ROP miles?

Not sure what your question is here.
For BKK/CDG 1xF 1x129k + 3xJ 3x89k = 396k
Obviously TG doesn't fly SYD/LAX/HNL and neither is there a TG service b/w HNL/BKK (in fact, no direct *A flights b/w HNL and BKK). Do you want to use TG points to redeem *A flights? If TG points are all you've got, then I guess no option, but I suspect you would be better redeeming UA, OZ or NH points for this part of your journey.

I'm missing something huge here.
What does the cost of BKK-CDG have to do with the SYD-HNL?:confused::confused:
On the latter you want to fly SYD-BKK-LAX-HNL? TG ROP is not the FFP to be doing this in.

BKK-CDG is something I needed reference to its in the past.

I want pigs to have wings. That doesn't mean they will.
Prey tell what do these two disparate routes have to do with each other? One is 5859 miles and the other is 15498 miles (if BKK-LAX is calculated as direct distance). Why would you reference apricots when you're purchasing durian?
Why don't you have a look here: http://www.thaiairways.com/frequent-flyer/en/one-way-thai-air-awards-chart.htm
Then you can well determine how many miles are needed for a trip of over 15K flying. Wait, I'll spare you the time, TG doesn't even publish for awards over 15K miles.

I assume this has something to do with the BKK-CDG flight booking you had cancelled via US Airways?

If so then TG's award prices are irrelevant to any scenario. This just keeps getting more and more interesting.;)

since the guy never travels on paid mileage earning international flights where did he suddenly acquire 100k ROP miles?

Or the 189K +/- necessary to travel o/w in F Australia-USA. Not to mention the miles needed for the other pax.

Interesting? Actually, I'm confused at what the OP is after.
Shanye2233, if you can be a bit clearer about the advice you're after then we'll try to help.
