While looking for a flight this morning on Asiana's US website I stumbled upon a completely reworked booking system which read "powered by expedia" and even offered mixed airline flights. Very strange, but it does seem much better designed than the old one (not that that's hard to do). Anyone already booked a flight with the system?
i noticed that too..... couldn't figure out what booking class from there, so went to an agent instead....

Yeah that seemed to be the downside. The only good thing about the old system was how clearly it spelled the booking classes out for you. You can still decypher it by clicking on the conditions link somewhere along the process, but it's that really annoying version that gives you endless code.

I noticed this last week, and thought it was strange. I'm not sure if I like it, because it seems to default to Expedia for flight searches. I mean, if I wanted the Expedia site, I'd go there! They must have been offered a good deal (read: They're being cheap). :td:

The US Asiana booking engine always has been powered by Expedia - it just wasn't labeled as such to the casual user. Any improvements would be welcome.
