Chicago - Questions about Parking @ ORD

Hello all,
This will be one of those rare times where I have to actually drive myself to and park at ORD for the weekend flight. Being that, I noticed that there is a lot F for cheap $9/day parking. But seeing how it is far far off T1, I wonder what is it like to get from Lot F to T1, and what's the bus running time and all...
Or, if there is another lot I should be parking, given that I will only be parking there from Saturday to Monday early afternoon.
Thanks
p.s. no, I don't need those fancy valet parkings.;)

The F lot shuttle runs every 10 - 15 minutes. It takes you to the end of the terminal train in Lot E.
Worst case scenario would be about 30-40 minutes to get to Terminal 1

Lot E is where I can catch the mono rail, IIRC? Thanks
Any other options aside from Lot E/F? I mean, privately owned garages, cost?
by the way, is Lot F the cellphone lot?

Correct, ATS train runs from Lot E to Terminals 5, 3, 2 and 1.
I don't know anything about the privately owned lots, but I am fairly sure they have been discussed here before.
Yes, the Cellphone waiting lot is part of Lot F.

I personally prefer the off-site lots along Mannheim Road. My impression is that the car-to-terminal time for off-site lots is faster than Lot E.
The prices are about the same as Lot E (+/- depending on the particular lot, whether you've made an advance reservation, the number of days you're parking and whether you want inside or outside parking). That said, my impression is that prices have crept up since The Parking Spot bought the Avistar/Fasttrack lot.
For my most recent trip, I parked at Blue Sky, which is new. I thought their lot was clean, service was quick and professional. Without hesitation, I'd park there again.

If you replaced E with F in the above, I would agree with it. :)
Lot E is where you catch the ATS train. Lot F requires you to take a bus to Lot E, adding anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes to the trip. Lot E is faster most of the time, but more expensive ($19 per day) than off-site lots on Mannheim. There is a good chance you will have to walk quite bit from your parked car, depending on time of day. Lot F is similarly priced, but not any faster that Avistar and other off-site lots.
Note, that ATS frequency goes down to about once every 10 minutes in the evening, and it takes about 8 minutes to get to Lot E from T1 (the farthest). It also takes about 10 minutes for the shuttle bus to get from Mannheim lots to T3 (the farthest). If you leave/arrive T5, then ATS is likely going to be faster.

My bad! I always get those two confused.
