Sixt - Booking in Vienna and driving to Croatia? What is the best car that I am allowed?

I am flying into Vienna August 6th, 2012 and flying out August 29h, 2012. I want to rent a car from August 7th to August 29th and drive it down to Croatia. I was hoping to rent a BMW or Audi; however, Sixt apparently won't allow BMW, Audi, Benz, or VW into Croatia.

What is the next best thing Sixt will let me drive to Croatia? I don't want to be stuck in a compact Peugeot if all possible.

Also, do I need any kind of extra insurance driving to Croatia? I have a First Class Travelers Visa that covers a lot of the insurances.

Thanks, Marko

you are giving the answer yourself regarding the car

what exactly is your question now?

you have to pay 9,60 per day extra for going to croatia, max. 39€

I guess my question is there a decent car Sixt offers other than BMW, Audi, Benz, or VW. On the website I just see Opels and Peugeots......does Sixt have any bigger Toyotas or similar?

"you have to pay 9,60 per day extra for going to croatia, max. 39€"

If I go for 20 days the max total is 39€, right? Not 39€ per day...?

that's what it says on the website, max 39€ in total per month.

the question is what is a decent car for you.

some would rather drive an opel than a toyota. you get a pretty good overview if you go to the austrian sixt website and look at the fleet.
