Travel Tools - APIs for flight and hotel information

for the programmers out there.

i'm looking to see if there are any aggregators out there that have open API's to their search engines. ideally i'd just be able to fire off a web services query and get an XML/JSON response back with search engines for flights and hotel fare information. the closest one i could find is expedia's EAN but that gets complex with flight information and was wondering if anyone knows of anything. any thoughts?

Same here! Kayak has stopped the API service. ClearTrip is only domestic. There is huge list @ http://www.programmableweb.com/apis/directory/1?apicat=Travel but none seem relevant (or I am missing it).

Kayak uses a lot of ITA/Google's QPX api.

There's also APIs from all the big name GDS providers, but it's very difficult to get onto those platforms unless you have a fully accredited and experienced Travel Agent.
