I realize that this topic probably has been covered but can anyone tell me if a 2 hour connection is an adequate amount of time to make an international connection. I' am arriving terminal one then connecting to terminal three. I will check my bags through and hopefully will have my connecting boarding passes. Thank you all for reading.

Assuming 1) your bags are checked through2) you land on time and 3) you have your boarding pass, then this will be fine.
Just to flag up any flaws however, where are you coming from and going to?
As always, the key question is... Do you have a single booking for the connection, or are they on separate tickets?

Thank you both for your responses. My wife and I are arriving F class passengers on United in Terminal 1 connecting to Thia Air F class. We are ticketed through on the same on the same reservation from IAD -LHR-BKK. I hope this info helps to better form your opinions and advice. Again thank you for your time.

That'll be fine. Bags will be checked through from IAD to BKK and you should have your boarding passes.
Thai look after FC pax very well, so they may have someone waiting at the UA arrival gate. If not, just follow the signs to flight connections. It'll be a short bus ride, a case of going through security again (where I think they have fast track for premium passengers) then on to the lounge.
Whatever you do, don't go through immigration and end up landside. Unlike the US, there's no need to do this in the UK for international->international connections.
Thai use the Air Canada/SAS lounge in T3 which is certainly good enough, but you can also access the Singapore Airlines first class lounge if you want/have time. I think I'm right in saying both have shower facilities as you'll probably welcome the opportunity to freshen up.
Whilst I always think flying F is a great treat, the difference between UA and TG will likely knock your socks off!
