Mileage Run Discussion - newbie AA MR question

So AA has this mileage promotion for up to 30,000 FF points. Its for all flights between September and November. As it turns out I have several planned, which is good. But to start the thing off, you need to fly one RT by 9/4 which is not in N,O or Q class. My only august tripis in N. Anyone have any good cheap ideas for an MR from JFK, LGA or EWR?It just has to be roundtrip, so not trying to run up miles. Looking for cheapest possibilities.

You've misread the rules. All flights must be after 9/4 to qualify for the promo...

And the N, O, Q fare exclusion means you won't get anything close to mileage run pricing. I can't think of a single market where G, S, or V fares are low enough to make this promo worth thinking about if you don't have another reason to travel. Consider it a nice bonus if you happen to fly some G+ fares during the promo period.

Correct. This promotion is not of much value for plain MR because it requires that you book in higher than deeply-discounted fare buckets for each flight.

If you happen to be travelling anyhow (say on a company paid ticket) it can add some extra bonus miles -- but it's not worth it for plain-and-simple, or adequately cheap, mileage runs.
