Travel with Children - BA Long Haul flight LAX to LHR - cots

My wife and I will be travelling with our new born next month in club world. Does anyone have experience on whether there are seats with cot space in this section and whether a car seat is permitted?

No car seats on BA for those under 6 months old, from what i understand from the BA board yes there are bassinet positions in CW

If you have an infant on the booking you can pre-assign your seats regardless of status or fare paid.

The seat plan will show one or two seats marked as 'cot' - 14E and 20E if it's a 747 with the bigger club cabin.

You will be able to pick this seat assuming it hasn't gone already. What you want is the adjacent F seat too - you get a mini cabin all to yourself.
