Hi All,

This my first post in flyertalk. I found a flight from Seattle to Puerto Rico on Delta September 11th, returning September 12th for $318. The route is as follows:

SEA->SLC->JFK->SJU->JFK->SEA

its 3.8CPM. I hope I am posting this properly! Thanks!

And it disappeared the 16th of July. Went back up to 500+. But looks to be back for September, October and a little bit of November. Looks like PDX, BOI and a few of the others are not included this time around.

Always wanted to see San Juan but it was just too pricey. Thanks to this thread, I will and earn a whole bunch of cheap MQM's to boot. Bummed to discover it was in the 200's (although it's not clear if this was out of LAX), but still a great deal. Thanks OP!

Statistically it is probably best to avoid SJU Aug/Sep: http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/climo/#ori look about 1/2 way down this long page for month to month maps.

i'm not sure if it has been posted elsewhere but can someone post the fare rules for this (or a link if previously posted -- searches didn't turn up)? specifically start/end travel dates, included cities, saturday restrictions, etc. for UA?

I booked SEA-XXX-SJU-JFK-SEA recently for travel in early September, it came to $393 ai. Not the best MR at roughly 5 com, but I got the JFK stopover I wanted, so it's worth it to me.

AA: SEA/SFO-JFK-SJU for $317ai. For AA members, there are some very limited avails showing on ITA going SFO/SEA-JFK-SJU for $317ai. At 8360 total miles this yields a cpm of about 3.8.... Requires a 2 or 3 night stay however; limited dates in late Sept. and October.

EDIT: also LAX-JFK-SJU available on AA at about $415 for 4.6 cpm.

I will be flying in the opposite direction on 9/11.
I am doing following.
WAS-ATL-SEA-ATL-SJU.
SJU-ATL-LAX-SEA-DTW-WAS.
It's not as good as the SEA-SJU but I get a total of about 13500 miles for $581 fare ($431 out of pocket).
Did it take much work? I had to do it segment by segment. I am going to need a to spend a few days in SJU to catch my breath.
Has anything changed with medallion upgrades on DL coded AS flights? At the end of the booking, Delta.com said "upgrade status on one or more flights might have changed" without specifying the flight. I hate this kind of message. Now my itinerary says that it's not upgradable.

That's why I decided to book a hotel. I would have had 3 sleepless nights in a row doing BWI-ATL-SEA-ATL-SJU-ATL-LAX-SEA-ATW-BWI.
