Club Carlson - Country Inn - Kansas City, KS Issue

I just thought i'd fill you in on my parents current situation with this hotel. They had both signed up for the promotion (44k points after 1 stay). This was for the Monday prior to the All-Star game and hotels were very full do to everyone coming in town for the game.
It turns out they over sold the hotel and had no rooms available when my parents showed up (prepaid online even). They offered to put them in a room in Topeka (1 hour away), but that would not work for them. The entire reason for the stay was strickly to earn points. My dad explained that to the manager and she said she would double the points they were to earn as well as refund them the night.
It sounds like an AMAZING deal and he obviously agreed. After a number of calls and no points in either of their accounts yet, do you guys have any suggestions? My dad doesn't have the time or patience to call every other day until points post, but i dont want him to lose out on these promised points...especially when he drove over an hour round trip to find out he couldn't even stay at the hotel.

I would contact the manager of the hotel and get her words in writing of what she said about the double points etc. I don't know how long ago the All-star game was but it took a week for both of my stays to show.
I have to admit they have been pretty good with this point promotion so I would contact that manager and see if she can do something further and say you shouldn't have to be taking time out of your day(s) to track down points!

Thanks for your input. I stayed at the hotel late May and points posted a few days later. We also stayed one night under my wifes account the friday before the All Star game and points posted by Wendnesday the next week.
My dad has been in contact with the manager, but it sounds like they are dragging their feet and hoping he gives up. I'll keep everyone updated on how this turns out for those interested!

The manager explained to my dad they had to contact Club Carlson and it would be a few days before points posted. I know its only been 2 weeks, but that is still far longer than a few days like promised.

Update:
My father has received 50k points (not the 100k like promised) which is fine. After contacting CC multiple times for my moms stay she has still not received any points....

I was private messaged by a Club Carlson member to help assist in this manner. They put my mom in contact with the right person and very quickly credited her account with the bonus points. I've personally had nothing but great things to say about this hotel chain but this customer service has been second to none.
