Chase Ultimate Rewards - Ink Bold invitation has passed - what happens if I apply anyway

I received an offer for the Ink Bold card with 50,000 points after first use. Problem is I was waiting to avoid applying for too many Chase cards in a short period of time and the application respond by date now passed (was July 15th). I was wondering if I can still apply for the card using my invitation code and receive the points after first purchase since if I go to the website and put in the invitation code a pre-printed application shows up onscreen. Would hate to waste an application if I won't be able to get the first purchase bonus because I can not reach the normal spend requirement. Any guidance would be much appreciated.

I don't know the answer for sure, but I will say I've gotten LITERALLY 8 of those offers in the snail mail in the last few months. Maybe there is one in your mailbox today? :)

Most likely you can as long as the web page still accept your application. This happened to me when I applied for my Ink card (50K points after first purchase). At that time I also sent a secure message to chase to confirm that, you might want to do the same.

I ALREADY APPLIED FOR THE CHASE UME CARD back in april and got 55k something miles,

I got an offer in mail yesterday for same card with same bonus miles.

I won't get it again right?
