We'll have a 2.5 hr. layover at SLC. Looking for a recommended restaurant options. What's your favorite SLC airport restaurant, or which would you recommend? Thanks!

I always go to the Squatters Pub in the C Concourse myself. The BBQ Chicken Pizza is good and they have a great beer selection. Good staff too. I once got a 10% off coupon from the desk staff at the Skyclub but I don't know if you're a member.

Fly to Boise, eat lunch, come back... Squatters is the best offering at any of the terminals as CMK10 said. It isnt as good as the actual Squatters pubs. Other than that, avoid the greek place at the food court and the new wrap place in the A terminal. The restaurant at terminal 1 is being renovated, no idea when it opens.

Funny, Greek Souvlaki is my favorite place in the airport for a quick meal. The SLC airport is currently redoing most of their food and retail options and most of the new full service restaurants haven't been finished yet. Squatters is good and a place called Vino Volo has a good wine and local beer selection, but I haven't tried their food.

I have never seen a slower renovation in my entire life. They have been working on some of the same spaces for a year now. It also seems to be very poorly phased. The Gordon Biersch space has been closed for a year and then they closed the entire Terminal 1 food court before they reopened the restaurant. I can't figure out what's taking so long. The airport had to be losing millions in concession revenue.
