Marriott Rewards (including Ritz-Carlton) - Rocky Hill CT FS Marriott becoming a Sheraton

This was confirmed by Hotel Employees.

Looks like this will happen around August 1st.

What a shame..always liked this location. Nice staff and I rarely paid over $79 for the room, which was a bargain. There are several newer Marriott properties in the immediate area so at least we have choices, but sorry to see it go.

I'll update the exec lounge sticky to reflect it leaving Marriott on 8/1.

Absolutely a shame. One of the friendliest, affordable, convenient and accommodating Marriott's in the system, sad to see it go. Used to stay here after getting fed up with the overpriced and arrogant Marriott Farmington. Also stayed at the Hartford Downtown RI a few weeks ago for a show at the hockey rink and was pleasantly surprised....

Checked out of here today and they said Aug 1st is the date of the change. I do not like farmington, I guess I'll be using windsor marriott or courtyard for now. The downtown location is great and have stayed at RI, I'd like to see how the marriott is downtown but have not seen the rate I am looking for.
