New York City - Transfer time JFK to international T4

I'm trying to decide if my connection is sane. SFO-JFK on UA to T7, arriving 5PM. Leaving MS (Egypt Air) JFK-CAI 6:30PM from T4.
My bags will be checked through, and I'll be C. But I'll have to make it through the terminal, take air train, and then I'm not sure how bad security can get at T4. Will being C help?
Any experience with T4 security and transit times between terminals would be appreciated. Thanks!

No issues whatsoever IF the PS flight is on time - which is no guarantee these days. I'd be most worried about that.
But exiting the plane to making it to the Airtrain is like 5 minutes, then 5 minutes over to T4. Security shouldn't be too bad at T4, and yes there is a C/F line that may make it a bit better.

During Rush hour, the airtrain runs every seven minutes at JFK, and it's two minutes between terminals. So if you get on the one that goes from 7 to 5 to 4, the maximum amount of time from airtrain platform to platform is 11 minutes. Make sure you get on the one going the terminal loop, and not the other one that goes to the subways to get from 7 to 4.
Your flight was delayed 38 minutes today, 21 minutes late on Friday, and 13 minutes late on Thursday. I would be more worried about the arrival than the transfer.

That's a very busy time @ T4. I've transferred from UA (PS) to EK a number of times and it's easy to get from 7 to 4 but because of long security lines MS probably closes the counter 45min - 1 hour before departure. That and the fact it's hard to guarantee your PS flight will be in time makes me wary of any connection at JFK less then 75 min
As far as being in C. Some airlines walk F customers to the front of the line (LX) but for C I have no idea. (EK's lounge is on the air side so they don't need to do that. SQ F I believe they have a C/F line so probably that's good for all airlines)
