Qantas Frequent Flyer - Checking luggage through on Qantas/Jetstar

Flying Qantas FRA>SIN and have a connecting flight with Jetstar through to Darwin. Will Qantas check us in direct to Darwin or are we going to have to collect luggage in SIN and re-check?

I am not familiar with your particular flight plan, but the last time I flew a combined Qantas/Jetstar itinerary (3 months ago) I had to collect my baggage after the Jetstar flight and recheck it to qantas. I believe this is a common occurrence.

By that page, QFi will interline the bags at SIN if on the one ticket.

Thanks, both. Unfortunately not on the one ticket so looks like a baggage collection in SIN. Oh well, will give us something to do.

I checked in with J* in BKK late morning, having allowed plenty of time to clear immigration in SIN and recheck with QF. The check-in agent asked if I had a continuing flight - to which I replied yes, producing the QF e-ticket. He then checked the baggage through SIN to my Australian destination.

I would ask, if it is not offered. True, they may say no. But then...

I begged but according to the checkin lady it wasn't nessecary. She checked them through no problems.
