Club Carlson - 6pm checkout?

I noticed on the Radisson website that they were advertising "Late Checkout is on Us 6pm checkout based on availability."

Does anyone have any experience with this? We have some hotels around here that make it seem like a hardship to get a noon checkout rather than 11am (even as a CC Gold).

I'd be interested to know if any hotels actually honor this.

Elite early checkin says up to 2 hours prior to normal checkin time
Elite late checkout says up to 2 hours after normal checkout time.

Edited to add: Of course if a 6pm checkout is listed as amenity for a specific room (i.e business class room in certain locations), then that is guaranteed...unless it says "based on availability" of course.

I recently stayed in the Chicago Radisson Blu. They specifically mention the 6pm check-out. However, this is based on availability. I got a 3pm check-out as they were booked out that night.
