Flying JFK to CDG and looking at Premium Voyageur.
Seatguru lists 81 A,B,K,L as best seats because of extra room. I know there can be compromises with first row seats (entertainment, place to put feet, etc.)
Comments from anyone who has flown this class and is familiar with the first row would be much appreciated.

It's definitely the best row. Huge legroom. But I'll recommend you to select 81A or 81L to benefit from the side storage compartment.

Thank you Goldorak. I assume that the entertainment system come out of the the armrest. If that is the case, does that compromise the space at all?
Also, is there a problem not having the footrest of the seat in front of you?
Your thoughts are appreciated.

The PTV is indeed in the armrest, but the seat is quite wide (compared to a Y seat), so the overall available space is not compromised. For the footrest, frankly, I don't care too much about it and the additional legroom is really nice.
The only inconvenient of this row is the smaller tablet (especially when you compare to the big tray table of regular PV seats).
