My Grandfather and I are going to Maui in September and I found it interesting that Expedia charges $45ish for a Full Size car but after a minute later I went onto Hotwire and found the same Full Size car for $15.95 per day even if this is not all inclusive its still a good deal.
How can Expedia get away with charging $45 for the same car? I guess people don't want to pre-pay for their car. Since we know our dates it makes sense to book the Hotwire rate for 2 weeks.
I have gotten upgrades to a Premium Car before using Hotwire and from a Midsize to a Full Size at OGG when our Mid Size car was not washed and they said it would take 40 minutes to get it ready. I told the nice agent that we had an event to attend and they gave us a Ford Taurus in 5 minutes.
