Long term parking at SFO has increased from $15/day to $18 recently. :mad: Offsite lots are looking more attractive now, though likely they'll raise their rates as SFO's rate increase gives them cover.

Perhaps an "olympic" bump? ;). Here's hoping that in about 3 weeks the rates drop back down

I wish. But realistically, the # of parking spaces from closed lots over the past few years has been substantial. With SFO on the road to a healthy recovery, this is no surprise.

Basic supply and demand. They know those off-airport lots are packed at peak times. Wasn't it about a year ago that ParkSFO raised their rates?

Yup, went up June 15th. It's not just long-term - the maximum daily rate in the on-airport lots went up as well.

the International parking used to be $20 per day; went up to 24 and I think it is going to $28 per day; at $20 per day it was a great option.

Agreed, I'm very annoyed by this. I always used to park in international G instead of long term, but at 28 instead of 20 I may as well just park in short term or off airport. I just liked being able to walk to my car after a long flight, instead of waiting for a shuttle bus or train.

I agree. It was my standard parking method of choice. At these increased rates, I'm parking at the long term garage for anything more than two days. In fact, I don't really see the benefit of staying within the SFO owned ecosystem so I'll probably try some others. Totally disgusted with ParkSFO right now though.
