bmi diamond club - How can I get my miles back?

Hope someone can advise me. I earned 250k ish miles last year and in January used these to book a Tg/Nz flight to tonga in Sept this year for myself and my husband. Although these were my miles I transferred them to my husbands account as head of household prior to making the booking. Unfortunately my husband has just told me he is leaving me (a big surprise) so clearly we won't be going on our trip. The way I currently understand it is that when we cancel the miles will be returned to him as head of the household account (the booking was made from his account) and if they were then transferred to avios would be seen as his miles if our BA HHA was disbanded. As these were clearly my miles (earned by flying Egyptair to Kul) ideally I would like them back. Does anyone know if there is a way to reverse the dc transfer so they become my miles again? I could then transfer to avios and they would be in my account. The audit trail in both accounts show the transfer between accounts so it can be proved they were mine, I actually think as well he would agree with that but is there any way they can be moved back to the original account?
Whilst this is not the most major issue in my life right now (to say the least!) I also don't like the idea that he will gain my miles!
Any advice much appreciated.

I cannot see how this can be done.
Sorry for your troubles. :(

Thank you for the thoughts, as I say this is not the most serious issue I have right now but it would have been nice to get them back. It seems somewhat unfair that he will end up with my miles but perhaps ican somehow get them included in the financial settlement.

I'm no expert on BA and Avios, and I'm sure one of them will be along to tell me I'm talking bollocks, but once they're moved over to BA it can be done, I believe, by moving them again from BA Avios to an Avios Avios Household Account (you and you soon to be not other half) which you then dissolve by sending them the form on which you state how they should be spilt. I think......

Firstly sorry to hear your news.
Who has all the log on details? Is it you - if so you might be able to disband the BMI family account and do the transfer back again. If as in my husbands case he doesn't have a clue about any of the accounts - change all the email addresses to ones you control and go from there. Highly illegal I'm sure but alls fair in love and war.

Ok, so if I understand this correctly.
I need to set up an avios household account for both of us (I actually used to work for them so have an account but my husband doesn't)
I then cancel the DC booking and when the miles are returned transfer them to BA Avios.
I then then transfer them to the Avios household account and then apply for that be split and the miles can be apportioned correctly?
Thanks for the help! It is much appreciated, I may not have my dream holiday to Tonga but at least I may have the miles to have some much needed R&R when this over.

Thank you to my fellow flyer talkers who have shown me compassion, to see kind words from complete strangers is very humbling and gives me courage that I will be able to move on from this.

1. DO you have your husband's log in details for BD?
2. If you do, log in - and change the password , email and address right away.
I don't know if miles can be redeposited back to Family Members' accounts. But if you can do the above, cancel your flights, and then once in your account, transfer the miles back to you.
With all that is going on, I hope your ex will not be too occupied in getting miles back .. but you are !!
Good luck...
Sorry to hear of your troubles.
I had reasonably civil financial arrangements with my husband when we separated but they all fell apart when he got a new girlfriend. So my advice is hope for the best but prepare for the worst.
Good luck
