Post 28.10 keeping this open for flghts to Dublin, Belfast and Leeds could be an extravagence - is it likely that this could be shut - and perhaps eligible passengers given a voucher for the caffs (or allowed to use the euro lounge and then go back through domestic security)?

There'd be no problem using the Great British Lounge if the London Room is closed as there's no separate domestic and international security lanes and the GBL is in the common area.

Back when bmi was in Star Alliance many of us used to get some food in the Star Alliance lounge in the main area before making our way to the domestic bmi lounge.

It'll be interesting to see what approach BA takes with this. My booking for LBA in December is showing the lounge as the London Room but that could change.

Perhaps they could open it up to Priority Pass (there's one BA lounge that takes PP already - JER) if they decide to keep it running.

It's quite obvious 'The London Room' is surplus to requirement these days' there's no reason to keep it open. None I can think of anyway.....
