Nordic Countries - Tusen Takk!

To all our Norwegian members who aided me with helpful advice on my just completed trip. The three of us had a wonderful experience in your country, couldn't have done it without you!

Oslo-Balestrand-Bergen-Stavanger, all in 2 weeks without driving once, and everyone we met along the way was so nice it was amazing to us.

A stunningly beautiful country, with some of the nicest and most helpful residents I've ever come across.

My husband and I traveled through Norway for perhaps 10 days quite a while back. By train and car. The country is indeed beautiful - the most beautiful we've ever seen. And I have only fond recollections of the people we met. My husband used to be able to run then. And he has zero sense of direction. One day he went on a 3 mile run in Oslo - and wound up perhaps 1/2 mile away from the hotel. He didn't have a clue where he was. And he wasn't carrying any money either. A nice young man actually walked him back to the hotel :). Robyn
