Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - Right now in the LHR F lounge (warning: disgusting)

Just me and another passenger - a big fat man. He's pulled up his shirt over his big fat belly, over which a thick trickle of blood is dripping. He seems quite unperturbed by this, walking along the floor and dripping blood everywhere, whilst ordering breakfast from the poor staff who are trying to wipe his blood up from the floor as he deposits it. Kind of lost my appetite for breakfast...
Shouldn't someone say something before this dude drops dead from losing blood?

It's not just an overflow from guzzling wine?

Sounds like end stage liver disease to me. Are his eyes yellow?

Well he has two large pill boxes resting on top of his carry-on. Seems totally unperturbed and unembarrassed by the whole thing, and ordered a full hot breakfast. I can't check his eyes, because I slurped down my noodles double-quick and escaped to the BA lounge, where I am trying to drown the memory with Grand Siecle. Spotted plenty of blood spots on the floor on my way out that the poor (ungloved) lounge staff had missed wiping up.

Indeed, and I very nearly needed one! Never meant it that literally...

Actually I feel sorry for the guy, he sounds like he might be dying.
I don't think its nice to make faces about these things, the man is obviously very sick.
If you were in his position, would you really care about much about the opinion of all the healthy people around whom have to be inconvenienced by having to watch.
I would just look at him and thank God that it isn't you in such a position.

Yes, I agree. My question was a serious one, attempting to elicit from the OP sufficient information to be able to advise him to do something more concrete than ogle and slurp his noodles in public.

No mean to stab that guy from the back.
But:
1. Shouldn't the lounge have a dress code policy?
2. Doesn't he too sick to fly?

Yes, I would. The guy was walking back and forth over the floor, flipping his shirt up and down and dripping blood everywhere, and not sparing a thought to the poor sods who were walking after him and trying to wipe it up other than when bellowing his breakfast order to them.

Couldn't anybody tell him that he is bleeding ?

There really isn't much point of this thread going on cos the issue has passed, and anything else after the fact, is not really related to CX.
So I am going to close it.
Thanks
