Chase Ultimate Rewards - Hard Pull for Additional Cards on Ink Bold account?
As far as I remember, all employee cards of a business incur hard pull during application.
Does adding employee cards of Ink Bold incur hard pull? It requires SSN when adding employee cards on line.

I added an employee card a month or 2 ago to the IB, and no SSN was required.

Did you do it over the phone or online?

Online. I think it gave me the option to put in a SSN, but it was an optional field and I left it blank.

Thank you, David!

Against the employer's credit or the employee's?
As far as I know, if employer adds a card for an employee, then its against the employers credit as employer is liable for all payments. If employee applies on their own then its all against the employee.

Hi David,
Does your employee eventually need to provide his/her ssn while activating the card?
Thanks!

I added a employee card to my ink plus and did not enter a ssn. Must have left it blank. I did not need to provide one when activating the card either. I activated the card, not the employee, then gave the card to her, ready to use

I applied for the ink bold and included my employee's SSN as an authorized user. Said employee was uncomfortable with this so I called up chase to have them remove the employee SSN, and they said it's just useful for them to more quickly identify who is receiving the card, and that if you do not provide the SSN they can identify the employee in other (slower) ways.
