London Gatwick (3 Daily from 28 October 2012)
Malaga (Daily from 31 March 2013)
Faro (Daily from 26 March 2013)

From a purely selfish point of view I would have preferred them to stay at BFS; being 30 minutes further west is very handy if you are heading in the Derry/Donegal direction.

Surely this must call into question how long BA will stick at the BHD route….I wouldn’t be surprised if they give it a season or two, pull out and say they are still serving Belfast via EI codeshare (obviously only bookable if you are connecting). Hmph. :(

But I would love to be proved wrong!

Well for me coming from the South Im pleased as its easier :D I guess it will be split like that for many .

I agree with what you say and said it myself before . I think the timings are very interesting . 25mins difference between 3 of BA's flights. I can see BA pulling 3 and codesharing with EI and keeping the other 3. That way they can say they are still comitted to the route and no reduction and thus free up some slots. Time will tell I guess.

I like the idea of LGW-BHD on Aer Lingus.
