Does anyone else think that BKK is an awesome airport?? It got it all: great shopping, good lounges, lots of different airlines. I personally like it more than Changi. US airports pale in comparison!

BKK is just alright, it is too large to walk from one end to another, and has long immigration queues. For comfort, nothing beats Changi, there is just a sense of peace and serenity even in an airport when one is in Changi.

And for views of the Tarmac, BKK is terrible! HKG has the best view and has a lot more than what BKK has to offer.

I agree with your assessment of HKG - great tarmac views, especially from lounges. Who knows, perhaps it's the fact that I like Sangsom?
