Southwest Rapid Rewards - mystery 1500 pts "action based bonus"

Hello All:
I just noticed I had 1,500 points post today. Catagory "other" and called Action Based Bonus.

I have no clue - I do not recall anything that I would have done to get these.

They are not CPQPs

Anyone know what they are from?

Saw the same thing appear early this morning...no clue what it's about....

I got 4000 points. No clue either what that is.

Edit: Nothing for my wife (no status but flights in past month) and nothing for my 3 kids (no status and no flights in past year)

Theory is these are the Partnerpalooza bonus points.

So, we are a bit over 9 weeks from May 15. Close enough for WN.

And since all postings are exact multiples of 500, it fits. I got 1000.

I was curious, too, and contacted CS yesterday. After a little investigation she did see under a notes/comments area that it was indeed related to the Partnerpalooza promo. Maybe it was too hard to spell or too many characters in a row to use that title?

They mentioned they were going to post the Partnerpalooza points manually, which may be why they're coded to a generic category.

All I got was a dink 250 points.

We have 4 SW family participants accounts, all who participated in the partnerpalooza promo.

Only 1 has posted points, so we will keep watching the other accounts. Maybe they will post soon. hmmmmm.

My wife and I both participated, but nothing is showing in our accounts today.

Not sure, but I think what it means is that the Rapid Rewards Credit Card counts as one of the "two or more unique Partner purchases" needed, but the points earned do not count towards the "every 2000" points needed for each 500 bonus pts block.

Nope. After much back-and-forth with Southwest, they "clarified" that credit card earning does not count towards being a "unique partner" nor the points thresholds. There is a separate portion of the promotion (not related to the bonus points portion) that applied to the credit card.

Confusing? Poorly thought out? Possibly misleading? Yes.
