American Express Membership Rewards - Is having an Amex Plat a good sign for card issuers?

I am a complete newcomer at the credit card bonus game, and I have a question regarding Amex Plat cards.

Would having a Plat card on my credit (as well as its associated spending and payment records) help card issuers see me as worthier? I just imagined as it is a "premium" card for so-called high spenders.

Long story short: I get sent a great targeted offer, I applied for it and was approved. Subsequently, my business expenses allowed me to blow through the spending requirement and I have since had the card for a little over 2 months.

I have two other cards, a Discover cash back card (4+ months) and my C1 card (8+ months), and my monthly travel spending on the Amex alone would exceed the combined limit of the other two.

That said, I would like to do another application in September - when my C1 card is at least a year old - and I was wondering if looking at that "high" yet paid-in-full spending would make me look better. I am specifically looking at Chase.

Any pointers would be great, and thanks in advance!

I don't think that other credit issuers can tell that you have an Amex Platinum card. They can tell that an Amex account is a charge card and not a credit card because the terms say "1 month" instead of revolving, and they can see the current balance and high balance, but as to whether it's Green, Gold, Platinum, or Black, there's no way for them to know. Also, unlike most issuers, Amex doesn't report the number on the face of the card as the "Account Number" to credit bureaus, so there's no way to infer the card type from the account number prefix.
