Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - Ques about DAC-HKG route

Question #1:
KA191: DAC-HKG (stopover at KTM): 7+ hour journey
KA111: DAC-HKG: 4 hour journey

Both routes earn 1 club sector and 1496 club miles.

Why KA/CX does not award 2 sectors and adjust miles accordingly for KA191?

It seems DAC will be closed nightly (10pm-6am) in the next winter (Nov-Apr) for some reno project. Also the fog situation during Dec-Feb is terrible in DAC and usually no flight operates until around 9am. So effectively the airport will be shut around 11 hours per day.

Does anyone have any info regarding the new flight times for the red-eye flights (CX, CZ, MU, MH, SQ - all depart around midnight)?

A1: the amount of miles credited for one stop service is the same as nonstop, unless you have 2 boarding pass.

If it is one boarding pass it is treat as if nonstop in terms of elite qualifying miles.

Aka your ticket show DAC-HKG instead of DAC-KTM-HKG
