Qatar Airways Privilege Club - Transfer in Doha

My wife and kids are flying BUD-BKK with a connection in Doha. There is less then 2 hours connection time which i am sure is enough but i am still somewhat worried as my wife is not an experienced flyer and has 2 kids she needs to look after and probably 2-3 hand luggage.

As i have never flown Qatar how is it transfering in Doha? Anything to watch out for? They are traveling economy. After reading on Qatar website to make sure to get off at the right stop from the bus and that you have to follow the yellow signs it did seem somewhat complicated for someone who flies once ever 2 years and doesn't speak perfect English. I even thought about booking the Al Maha transfer service but not sure if this is necessary or it just sounds more complicated then it really is.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds a bit more complicated than it is. As long as you get off at the right stop, there will be no problem whatsoever. The bus will drop you off right outside the transfer terminal, so you do not need to worry about following any signs after that. First is a massive queue for security scan, and then you are inside "yellow" transfer terminal, and can't go wrong.

They will announce several times on the bus before arriving at transfer terminal. The only other stop, where you might go wrong is named "Blue - arrivals". This is probably the first stop, so if you hear "arrivals" announced skip this one and the next will be "yellow - transfer".

If you hold your yellow envelope for the boarding passes visible at all times, staff will guide you if you get off at the wrong place.

And they should not get worried if the bus goes a long time without announcing any stop. The distance from plane parking to terminal can be very long. It might take 15 minutes or so.
