US Airways Dividend Miles - Miles flown on partners not posting at all or correctly

A two part post, sorry in advance for the complexity.

I always fly using USAir account. I recently made some flights and they did not post how I expected per the following link:

https://membership.usairways.com/en-US/dividendmiles/earnmiles/staralliance_united.html

1) I flew SAS a couple of months ago LHR-ARN-LHR on a K fare. Miles not posted yet even though I emailed USAir supprt a few times and they said they keep going back to SAS but SAS indicates this was not a mileage earning fare. It was not a cheap fare and the only reason I booked was to get miles.

2) I flew United CMH-EWR-EZE. A fare for first leg, D fare for international leg. However, even though the above link clearly states that mileage will be accrued at 150% and 125% respectivly, the preffered miles earned were only at 100%.

Any comments or simlar experiences. I normally would not care, but I am only a few thousand miles from 125k for the year and would like the free club membership

Thanks

A

When I fly UA my miles post to my US account next day. When I flew SAS my miles posted about 5 days after the flights.
Only problems that I had was when flying ANA. Had to call to get my miles, but they posted few hours after the call.

Thanks for the response. The United flights did post next day, but the multiplier was 100% rather than the business/first multipier.

Has anyone reading this actually had the correct multipier posted for A and D fares, or is this smoke and mirrors and everyone just gets 100% regardless of fare?

Thanks

FWIW, I'm in the middle of a SAS intinerary, booked in discount business. Outbound credited with 50% class bonus, 2 days after flight

Are they code shares? If so, it's possible US could have sold you something under one of their codes, but what matters is the booking class the partner sees.

If US sold you a D/A fare, but UA codes the actual as a Z, you'll only get 100%

As for SK taking awhile, I've had UA take awhile, but only a week. If SK is saying it's a non-earning fare, you may want to look at how SK coded it and compare it to US's earning table for SK.

Nope- no code shares- all straight purchse from operating airline.

I dropped US a line on both accounts to see what they can do or provide guidance.

That's weird then. I had a D/A ticket not too long ago on UA and it posted fine.

If you have your BP receipt from SK, I'd suggest highlighting the booking code and showing that to US so they can see that it earns miles.

Just got bitten by a regulation where SK is not allowed by law to credit miles on inter-Norway flights. My SVG-OSL didn't credit (only 200 some miles, but hey they all count at year-end). Something about Norwegian competition laws, but should not apply in your case since at least 4 carriers serve LHR-ARN. I only added to save others from having to google it if they come across this thread

I read on US' website that some SK flights do not earn FF miles in Norway and Sweden. Can someone please give me a list of these flights? I am in the process of planning a trip to LYR from OSL.

Thank you
