This property is just off the I-75 before the bridge to Canada, but not near the shops, lakes, or locks, so there's nothing to look at. A sign in our basic room said that most of the rooms have already been renovated with fridges and microwaves - we clearly got one that had not yet been touched. The furnishings were motel-quality; the "exercise room" consisted of one treadmill and one stationary bike in a windowless closet. The indoor pool was locked into a room so humid that I couldn't breathe. The breakfast area was tiny with rubbery eggs along with the typical fare. It didn't feel unsafe, but I don't think I would stay again unless there was another 44K promo, $58 fare, and the fact that I actually happened to be in the UP. ;)

We stayed here only to get the points. We were told that it was full so we couldn't be upgraded. We didn't see many cars. People must have walked there. The back door was broken so anyone could get in. The breakfast was one of the worst we've had. Even the coffee was horrible. The room didn't look updated except for the bathroom. It was our first Park Inn stay and it might make it our last.
