Club Carlson - Extend Expiration Date for Free?

Is it possible to extend my point expiry (expiration) date for free? I know I can stay somewhere, but I don't need to go anywhere in the next 30 days. I also know I can purchase 1,000 points for 7 USD. Any other options?

I only have 75k points, but I hate to lose them since they have cost me nothing.

Why would you lose them? As far as I know CC points do NOT expire

I thought the same but AwardWallet alerted me to my impending expiry date so I had a look on the Club Carlson website. See here http://www.clubcarlson.com/customerservice/earn/q8 that point apparently expire if there is no activity for 24 months.
