ON MMB I'm showing 40KG + 12 KG excess baggage, does this mean that I get 52 KG in total? I'm travelling with my daughter and as she is a skysurfer she's only showing the 40KG so the only difference is that I am silver. We are both travelling in J.
Thanks
Jo

Yes. Your J ticket allows 40kg. Your Silver status allows an additional 12kg.
Gold status allows 16kg more.

Just to clarify, might be misunderstood, don't want anyone to get in 'trouble':
Silver: Regular +12kg
Gold : Regular + 16kg (and not 16kg more than Silver)

Thanks everyone, I think we'd have to go some to have 40 kilos between us, never mind each + the extra for silver.
Thanks

Haha. I thought the same but I was 2kg of my allowance on my flight today. I was shocked!

Yeh sorry. Looking back it looks like I suggest 16 over and above Silver privileges. Sorry.
