I've stayed at both, although only for a couple nights each. Both were wonderful, but between them I prefer the Rasa Ria.

Both were wonderful and in my eyes still are, but they are not the cutting edge stuff you maybe used to in Paris or The Island in Hong Kong. I don't know if you are familar with the Bali Hyatt or the Sentosa hotel prior to the refurb, but they are similar. If you look at their price, then compare it with another Shangri La, you will understand.
