Star Alliance - GOT-JNB - Which airline to choose LH or SAA?

I am just about to book a trip from Gothenburg to Johannesburg and i just wounder which airline you hade prefered between SAA and LH?

Which class of service will you be booking? You have a choice between two decent airlines. Nonetheless, my own first choice would be Turkish Airlines, whether you're travelling in Economy or in Business.

I will be traveling in Economy or Economy Extra if that option exist

Premium Economy isn't offered by either of those, I'm afraid. SA will give you a small amenity kit. Both SA and LH will give you decent food; SA probably spends a bit more but LH is good at making its money stretch. If well-organised and disciplined service is important to you, LH is to be preferred; SA is more hit and miss but can also be more charming if it's a hit. LH operates the A380 which is a plus if you are keen to add your mileage flown on this beast; however, as their entire lower floor is composed of identical Economy seats, you won't exactly feel like you're treated as an individual. Again, I would go with TK.

Thanks for the answer. I don't really fancy the A380 so i think i will go for the SA-booking after all.

After all it now seems like i will go GOT-JNB on the outboud trip and then CPT-GOT when i am going home again. So maybe it will be LH on the inboud route.
