Searched, found nothing and the the website doesn't even mention the existence of SA Express. Just booked an itinerary EWR-ZRH-JNB-WVB-JNB-FRA-EWR in a split of Q/M booking classes. I know I'm fine on the LX/LH/UA segments, but the r/t of JNB-WVB (Walvis Bay, Namibia) are SA operated by SA Express (XZ). Anyone have any experience with earning on them? Q/M are 100% earners for SA, I'm hoping it carries over to XZ.

Ahhhh, wonderful to hear your itin. I had a mining job taking me to WVB several times each year, ending earlier this year. US always credited automatically, but UA since the merger required sending in BPs. Either way, SAX always worked and agents at WVB can enter in your *A FF # at the counter to ensure it shows on your BP. If I remember correctly it was 100%. Safe travels.

Great to hear, thanks for your response.
Any specific first hand observations/thoughts on the area? I booked this trip after spending about a week knocking around options to do over a week in the Southern Africa area. Walvis/Swakop seemed as good a place as any to kick back, totally forget about work, and have a little outdoor fun.

Too bad you are not just flying JFK-JNB-WVB on SAA. Much better connections, less travel time and very good service.

And much more money, sadly, almost $1k r/t. Still gets into JNB around the same time, I just trade a night in my bed for one in an LX Y seat. It was about the same price to go EWR-IAD-DKR-JNB but that seemed like nonsense and ate into the tail end of my workday.
I do get an extra 2,500 EQM with this routing and my first A380 flight, so that's nice.

And, shockingly, no credit yet and the FF# was not on my BPs. I was too tired to check when transferring in JNB. I've requested credit online at US website, something I've never done before. Anyone have any experience with it working without having to send in the BPs? (Note: I do still have the BPs)
