bmi diamond club - Waived cancellation fee on awards post *A?

I managed to book a TK award in the frenzy late May before final *A exit, however I later in June needed to CX it. Agent mentioned something along waived cancellation fees for *A tix post *A exit.

When the refund hit my CC this was not reflected. Anyone else heard about this?

No, the cancellation fee is only being waived if the airline makes a major change to the booking which makes the ticket useless to you or obviously if they cancel the flight. I see no reason why they would waive the fee for a voluntary cancellation.

No, the Diamond Club terms and conditions will apply for redemption bookings.
