Hilton HHonors - Raleigh Stay HI or HGI or DT

I will be in Raleigh, NC with 4 adults (myself included). I am HH Gold and wondering if I can hope to get 4 breakfast at a HGI in Raliegh, or should I just go with HI? There is also a DT. The price swing is $9 max per night. I have had good look with HIs in teh recent past for breakfast being good, but never stayed at a HGI.


A side note, apparently the shuffle game on the Get-Away promo will pay out, I won a $100 card, much nicer than points!

Hilton north raleigh is good. Nice breakfast and exec lounge open during the week. although if you're going to visit NC State by chance, the doubletree on hillsborough is a good choice. It was renovated and became a doubletree fairly recently.

We are going to NC State, that DT is $30/night more. It will be a R-Su stay so weekday promos are nto as useful.

If you haven't stayed at an HGI, you should ! I avoid DTs (for a reason) and only stay at full Hiltons and Hamptons when I have to.

Try the Embassy Suites near Crabtree. Free breakfast for all.

and Go PACK!

The HGI is out by the airport, it's a good 20 minutes from NC State. Downtown or Midtown much better options.
