Fairmont President's Club - Presidents Club and Complimentary Internet Access

Just signed up in order to get the free internet access. BUt it only says "in room internet access". Does this also apply to wifi?

What Fairmont are you staying at? Many of the older Fairmont hotels only have wired internet access.

I haven´t come across a Fairmont hotel yet that does offer wireless internet access throughout the hotel, but doesn´t offer it to FPC members. If you´re using the wifi instead of the wired access, it should be free IMO.

Restrictions that some hotels have:

- there have been reports of a few Fairmont hotels limiting comp. access to one device (no first-hand experience)
- some Fairmont hotels have introduced two-tier internet access: Basic internet access ($15/night or free for FPC members) and Highspeed access ($25/night or $10 for FPC members). This is a pain IMO and I´ve made it a point to complain whenever I see it.

The Fairmont Scottsdale website states "wireless internet, comp. for FPC members" (under "guest rooms"), so you should be fine IMO.

I am having coffee at the JPL and using the free Pres Club Internet :). Works great! Not even staying here :)

I have never found the access to be anything but EVERYWHERE
